Well, I suspected that we would split with the Hawks before the Sixers beat them in Atlanta and I still feel that way. The Sixers will be coming in after a night of celebration while the Hawks will come in a play with a little more sense of urgency hence....

My Prediction: Hawks by 5+ (I hope I'm wrong)

I think the Sixers win fairly comfortably tonight. I think once you beat a team on a winning streak, they tend to come out sluggish the next game, rather than on a rebound.

Let's hope WE don't have a letdown after grasping a playoff spot.

Toronto and Washington play as well. Absolute worst case scenario, we end up back at 7th and 3 games ahead of Atlanta. But on the flip side, we could be 2 games ahead of Toronto for 5th seed and 1 ahead of Washington (who I only just realized had Gilbert back :/).

I can sympathize with the "1 in the morning" factor since I've been guilty of typing some insane thoughts that were caused by a lack of sleep and/or alcohol or most likely... both.

Hopefully the Sixers come out strong and take control early in this one.

I really, really want us to win this game and think we should. 5th seed in the playoffs would be great and I think we could make the second round. Every other matchup would be tough for us.

Never been a big fan of early runs since teams always make runs. It would be hard to match a run if it is at the end of the game.

I would rather have a run in the third quarter when the game is already in progress because the team is not as likely to have a mental let down.

Guys, if we could somehow snatch that game, we might have ultimately a legit chance to finish as the fifth seed. The Wiz have a hard schedule and might lose 2 out of the next 3 games. If we could build up a substantial lead, everything might be already decided when we face Washington. That is certainly the best case szenario but attainable. Initially, I really, really thought that our chances were pretty slim.

I was not able watching the previous game. Hopefully, it works today..

Unfortunately, Detroit, Boston and Orlando do not have much to play for at the moment, seedings are effectively set in stone from 1-3.
Catching them on the tail end of a back to back at our house is always good; we'll run them out of the building.

I was wondering if Lou was trying to sell his bud Josh Smith on coming up north to Philly next year. With Smith, Lou and Thad we would might end up with more Atlanta fans than the Hawks.

I doubt any contract we can throw at him would not be matched, but stranger things have happened.

Except our Home games are starting to average in the 19k range as we start winning more and more. Those damn bandwagoners!

I think the Sixers win tonight. They are extra motivated knowing they control there own destiny to get the 5th seed plus they are really good at home and Atlanta is bad on the road. Also we want to split the season series with them.

Somebody has to step up and guard Josh Chidress. He has killed us in 3 games.The problem is, Carney plays so small. Let's try and get one of the Hawks top players in foul touble in the ist half.

The 76ers need to get Jason Smith back in the regular rotation, especially at PF. Smith can help us on defense, especially, if we have to play Orlando in the playoffs. Smith is the player I want to see chasing Turkoglu in the playoffs. Put Thad on Lewis and let Sam play Howard alone. Stop all the trays and let Howard score 30. We would need to get Lewis or Turkoglu in foul trouble to take away the height advantage that Orlando has on Philadelphia.

If Evans wants to play more than 8 minutes tonight, he must have a better 2nd quarter than last night, where he had 2 traveling calls, 2 throw aways and 1 foul. We must keep Atlanta off the offensive boards, where they had 7 putbacks in the 2nd quarter.

In Friday's game with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Miller was shooting a dismal 3-9, but the rest of the way he shot 6-12. Miller made his baskets count in the 2nd half. Mike Bibby never scored a basket in the 2nd half.

Joe Johnson scored 16 points in the last 5:30 of the 4th quarter, but Iguodala rode shotgun, by scoring the last 10 points for our 76ers. The 76ers won the fast break points 28-10 on Friday.
