Off-season pick-ups for the bench...

Besides a staring PF and maybe a SG, what help do we need to fill on the bench...I believe that we need to find a back-up center and some shooters off the bench. Just say that Roger Mason Jr. is free agent this summer. I think that he would be a good addition to the bench. Hard worker, good defender and just what we need in a 3-point threat. Plus he kills us every time we play Washington. So what else to we need on the bench?

our bench is currently starting. when we get a legit 4 and 2 the we will have a legit bench..other than that..let shav and Lou A go to make room for those two spots, draft one dude, trade our 2nd rounder and everyone moves down a notch. most importantly willie comes off the bench

Moving WG and RE to the bench by upgrading the starting 5 would do wonders for the bench.

A guy like Eddie House would be nice. Someone who could come off the bench and knock down 3's. That was supposed to be Carney's job but I'm still on the fence with him.

We aren't really at the point yet where we can focus on bringing role players in to come off the bench. That's something teams like the Spurs or Celtics can do because their starting lineups are so strong. If they want to get to the next level they have to put all their cap room into getting a good player or two that can be above average starters at least.

In general, a back-up center and some shhoters would be nice. As D-Bods said it's too early to really worry about that since we need one or two more starters first. Although he's not a great shooter and defends every position except center, I would love to add Josh Childress to our bench.

^^^ premature discussion, as mentioned above ^^^
but i'd be overjoyed to add craig smith (RFA) to this roster.
he looks like a possible rick mahorn-type guy.
definitely an upgrade from reggie evans as our bruiser/ enforcer.

I can't think of anyone else (realistically) whom I would rather have back up Andre and Thaddeus. Here's hoping Atlanta is willing to part with him.
