OT- If you could add 1 non allstar to our team, it would be

Post#1 » by IggyTheBEaST » Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:27 pm

If you could pick 1 player to add to our team for nothing, who would it be?

2 rules:

1. He can never have been on the all star team

2. He has to be in at least his 4th year(giving him a chance to make it)

(That means guys like Okafor, Josh Smith and Biedrins are all out)

Who would you add

There are a good
3/4 tweeners: Hedo, Granger, Diaw

2/3: Mike Miller, Dunleavy

I assume you mean 5th year, Since Keving Matin, Okafor, Al Jefferson and Josh Smith are all only in their 4th year.

I stayed away from AK cause I dont think he is worth his salary but I thought about Josh Howard I just wasnt sure how many years he was in the league.

Thanks Guilty

(I forgot Josh Howard was an allstar)

Anyway, Kaman and Odom have to be the top 2 imo,(wilcox in 3rd) unless someone can think of a better one...

Tayshaun Prince is probably the best all around player never to make an all star team.

My picks...

1 - Jason Richardson - think of the upgrade over Wilie at SG. A true scorer which we lack. Good 3pt shooter.

2 - Odom - versatile F who would fit well in our system.

3 - Gerald Wallace - similar to Odom in that he can do many things. Not as good on O, but a lot better on D. Toss up between those 2 imo.

4 - Turkoglu - versatile SG/SF

5 - Mike Miller - a big SG who is money from 3 pt land. Would upgrade the SG spot a ton.

6 - Kaman - a C who can score down low. Put him 6th because I can't see him and Sam being able to play together.

i like this premise alot

1. Jason Richardson-good call...is a good scorer and an athlete who can run...fits our style nicely at the 2 guard spot imo

2. Tayshaun Prince-a great defensive presence with great finishing skills at the rim

3. Lamar Odom-kind of like jamison in that hes always been slightly underrated...not the kind of player who is going to dominate the action but is a great guy to have on a winner

4. Jason Terry-might not be the answer to dallas' titles hopes but he is a good scorer who can also play the point...has led the team to the finals and taken over for steve nash nicely while keeping the team among the elite

5. Al Harrington-a lesser mans odom but a guy who can play a multitude of positions

Two pages in and no one has the right answer yet.

Who's the best guy for what the Sixers need not to make an all star team?

Big Al Jefferson.
