Do we rest the starters in the last game?

I say a little, but we should really first try to win the game because we don't want to finish the season below .500 nor do we want to finish on 4 game losing streak even though it doesn't impact our playoff position.

If we were playing solid basketball... I would say yes but I don't know. This team has lost it's way a little bit. If the Sixers come out and play solid in the first half I wouldn't mind seeing them rest in the second.

Let Miller, iguodala and Sam keep their consecutive starts streaks going, but limit their minutes. They have a long lay-off, so a few minutes would help keep them sharp.

Agree.
And give Shav a start.

I would let our starters begin the game but run a lineup of:
Ollie / Lou
Green / Carney
Carney / Thad
Shav
Smith
Play most of the minutes.

The Sixers aren't the kind of team that would benefit from rest especially playing like they have been recently. They could use some additional fine tuning against NBA competition before the loses actually begin to count again.

I know it would be wrong, but I say lets see if we can get Lou to go for 35+ pts. Let him take 30+ shots. At least it would give Detroit something to think about (and probably earn Lou an extra Mil to help him buy a radio station.)

Bombaata went for 100. I guess that puts trying to get Lou 35 into perspective.

He's not good enough to play 35 minutes. He's only comfortable playing off the bench. Mo knows this. That's why Green gets more burn, even though he sucks donkey balls.

rodney carney was just on the jody mac show and said that the starters will start but the bench will get extended (i.e. starter's) minutes tonight.

I would definitely limit the Andre's miutes - if not sit Iguodala completely (if the rest would help him get healthy). Given the recurring problem that Evans seems to be having with his shoulder, I think I would sit him as well. I would play Smith and Williams extensive minutes (and encourage Lou to shoot the ball a lot), and I would play Booth a few more minutes than usual as well.
I really do not care if they win....but it would be nice if they did.
