As great as winning game 1 was, winning game 2 would be oh so much sweeter. We've now beaten the Pistons in 3 straight games and in our two rregular season losses, we weren't blown out. I think the Pistons win this one because they almost HAVE to but I do think it will be close hence...

My Prediction: Pistons by 3+

You have now won three straight games against the Pistons, so it wouldn't surprise me if you went up 2-0 in the series. Believe it or not, but Detroit really has problems winning against you, as do we have problems against Washington.

The thing that really makes me think that we can win this is that we actually played a pretty bad game in game 1 and we won the game.

word. i think we either get blown out or we win another tight one. im leaning towards another tight one because Mo will have the troops ready for a tough game. Am i in the minority that if this goes to Philly and were up 2-0 that Detroit is done? i think we might sweep them. This is the best crowd weve had in like 10 years.

I just randomly found a rally towel from the 2001 playoffs that I wasn't even looking for. Heck, it was in a random laundry bin.

It's a sign.

Sixers over LA in 6. Book it.

We can take this one, but we're gonna have to play smarter ball, because you know Detroit will be tightening things up.

A few keys, in my not-so-expert opinion:

Control the boards. Yes, the Sixers had 18 offensive boards, but Detroit had 20. We need a rebounding edge.

Continue to create turnovers. I think we forced the Pistons into 12 last game, which isn't a lot, but I think the pressure defense was effective in throwing Detroit off for stretches of the game.

Get in the paint and draw fouls. I think this applies to Iguodala especialy. We had Detroit in the penalty early on in the 2nd quarter and didn't really take advantage. We need to get to the line more than Detroit, since we shoot a poor FT percentage and we don't make threes. We need to make up some of the points at the line. I still find it unbelievable that we can knock off teams like Detroit while making only one 3.

As for the early missed layups and a few sloppy turnovers throughout the game, I'm gonna chalk those up to jitters :)

Let's do this!!! 2-0!!!!

Seriously.... I may make a push to get rid of Hip-Hop as our mascot and bring in our new guy.....

I am referring to the creature on the left and not the creature on the right. I also think "Punch" (???) would be an appropriate mascot next season when we will hope to have a 1-2 punch on our roster. Ok... that was terrible.

By the way, as Henry Abbott of ESPN's TrueHoop stated, Reggie Evans may have restored his good name with last night's game. I totally forgot about his "incident" with Chris Kaman.

Game 2 is gonna be much tougher...

We have to rebound better... Other than Evans, I thought our rebounding was atrocious for the most of game 1...

We have to get to the basket and not settle for poor jump shots... There were long periods where all we did was settle for poor contested jumpers...

We have to hit some free throws... This is the NBA folks...

We have to recognize match-ups issues when the exist and either counter or exploit them... I actually think Mo did a pretty good job of this, but could have done better...

Completely unrelated, did anyone notice that the TNT HD feed was superior to the CSN HD feed???
