if we get by Detroit, whats stopping us from getting to the Finals? i know this is probably premature with game 2 tomorrow and with Detroit sure to play better but IF we get by Detroit i see no problem with us beating Cleveland, Orlando and even Boston. Am i sippin on the syrup or is someone with me?

You are sipping too much on the syrup. As much as a fan, THEY HAVE NO CHANCE!!! Game one was just LUCK!! Just watch tomorrow and we'll see.

We don't stand a chance against Boston. They have the right attitude, which is not self-explanatory (gazing at Detroit) and they have arguably the best team in the NBA. Unless one of their top players gets injured we would have a really hard time matching their team.

Though I do love the spirit...

Lebron beat the Pistons last year all by himself and now hes about to beat the Wizards all by himself. What makes anybody on this forum think that we have any chance against a team with LeBron James on it. Thats just (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Well...If we beat the Pistons this year, we're better than they were last year.
Maybe we'll be just as good as the Lebrons
You've gotta have faith!
(sounds like a Limp Bizkit quote gone wrong)

This seems a bit premature.
Beating Detroit is still going to be very, very difficult.
Orlando and Cleveland then both present some real matchup difficulties.
And finally Boston is a much better team than Detroit or anybody else.

Even if we beat Detriot, Celtics and Orlando are still 2 Big obstacles

just for argument. if we get by detroit (big if) Toronto/orl is a huge obstacle. both have a dominant big man and 3pt shooters, a recipe to beat us. I'd rather have the raps b/c they are soft but still both series would be pretty rough. Beyond that the celtics in a seven game series is a nigh impossible task for this team (sans injury)
