How Far Under the Cap Are You Guys?

Post#1 » by loflin3hree5ive » Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:21 pm

I'm playing with trade checker with some Sixers ideas but I can't seem to find a trade checker that has you guys under the cap. Anybody have an exact figure how far you are/will be under the cap?

This summer about 10-11 million. The trade checker probably doesn't have it factored in yet.

I don't think there is an exact figure until the new cap number is released.

The Sixers have a cap hold of about 10.5M because of Iguodala and Lou Williams expiring contracts. Even after this cap hold they will have 10-11M in cap space.

So basically they have about 21M in cap space, half of which is locked in the cap hold. They can pay Lou and Iguodala more than the cap hold, even going over the cap 9after a big FA signing or trade0 by involing their Bird rights.

The "cap space" doesnt kick in until July 1 (start of fiscal year in NBA).

If you have a Trade Checker set to this season, it will not show cap space
