Have to agree with him about Granger. I would love to have this kid in a Sixer's uniform. Unlike the write, I think most GM's are fully aware of Granger's potential though.

He's listed as a F/G but I always though of him more as a SF. I recall he lit us up big time this season and couldn't miss a shot - with Iguodala guarding him no less. Could the 6'8 Granger play SG? If so, the idea of having a 6'8 Thaddues Young paired up with another 6'8 Granger is definitely intriguing. But what would it take to pry him away from Indiana?

Umm...Iguodala...

Granger is older than I thought. I don't see his upside being that much higher than Iggy's. He shoots better than Iggy, thats about it.

Bucks fan here----any chance there's a PF in the draft that you guys like enough to consider an igoudala trade? Bucks are picking 8 and kevin love might be there still. I think he'd be a perfect for the bucks, and I can see us trading a whole lot for him (more than just the pick).

Redd and the pick would be something to consider but I would ultimately decline

Trading Redd and the 8th pick would be overpaying for Iggy. Trading Redd for Iggy would be overpaying for Iggy.

I won't debate the value of an All Star/All NBA/Olympian with that of an unaccomplished playoff choke artist...You have your position and I have my own.

I will give S&T Iggy, Jason Smith, and our 16th pick for Redd and CV, and I would throw in Utah's first if you include the #8.

The reason for this is think about the lineup...

Daly/?
CV/Evans
Thad/Carney
Redd/WG
Miller/LW

A lot more firepower on O with this lineup. And we still have a decently deep and young bench. We have the 8th pick, and we could use it on a C.

I for one believe that DeAndre Jordon or JeVale McGee would be great as a backup to Daly for a year or two, then get rid of Daly and insert the one you pick in the starting lineup.

CV/Evans
Thad/Carney
Redd/WG
Miller/LW

This gives Miller the option of letting Redd take over as the #1 option, and lets Thad fight it out with CV for the #2 offensive option, which also allows Thad more time to develop before needing to be relied on. All the while he is at SF, his best position.

CV brings more youth and athleticism, and Redd brings a vet presense to mesh with Miller. I think having Redd to kick out to on fast breaks would be extremely helpful, as we have lacked consistent 3pt shooting in those situations.

AND, on top of all that, we bring Evans off the bench, and WG who is better off the bench. And we have Carney still improving off the bench for Thad, and LW still blooming. AND a player who could very well be one of the better C's in the league within 2 years.

I guess I'm just looking for change. Lol.

I like it^^^^^^ but our defense would be TERRIBLE. Extemely terrible.

Yes, because of that age of 24, it is ok to label someone as a playoff choke artist. Lets not blame the lack of outside shooting to spread the floor for Iggy who is a slasher, or the possibility that he was told to continuously post up Prince by the coach. Or lets not point to the fact that we got more games than the Orlando Magic, or that we were playing a team that got to the ECF for 7 years in a row. Yes, lets blame Iguodala because he felt at the beginning of the season that he should be paid more than 57 million dollars.

Iguodala is to blame to a certain extent, but lets just point out, that the Bucks were watching Iguodala in the playoffs. And I am by no means diminishing Michael Redd.

I have already typed volumes on the Iggy playoff choke subject. I will not fully revisit it again. I will just point to Iggy's missed fastbreak dunk in the playoffs and gracefully bow out of this one...
