I have seen a ton of mock drafts that have this guy dropping out of the top ten( and i know that mocks dont mean much, but at this point there is not much else to go by) and even a few more that have him at picks 12-15. I have seen him play a few times and he seems like he would be a good fit here with the Sixers esp when he would play next to daly at times ( not as a starter). He seems like he would need a few more Low Post moves to have a ton of success

I find the Dwight Howard comparisons with this guy pretty funny. Had Howard gone to college his freshman year would have been a lot more like Greg Oden's than Deandre Jordan's. The guy is a physical specimen for sure, but lots of those guys come along that can't play basketball, get drafted and later it turns out that they still can't play basketball. Other draft sites are starting to compare him more to guys like Devin Hardin and Javale McGee as his game is scrutinized more. No doubt he will get drafted high (think Kwame Brown, Desagna Diop) because some GM will fall in love with a workout and his raw abilities. Very risky pick, I would not move up for him. If he falls to 16, great, at that point the risk/reward is more balanced.

i understand.....i guess like u said i fell in love with his raw abilities and workouts.... other then the top 3-5 players i guess you can say that about most of the draft picks as well...

yea the Dwight Howard comparison is ridiculous.Jordan is nowhere near the athlete Dwight is and doesnt play as tough.i agree 100% with Skates post,had Dwight Howard went to college his freshman year,he would have had an Oden like year...not the sad #'s Jordan put up.

but when its all said and done...i wouldnt mind seeing him in a sixer uni,if the price was cheap enough.

I would prefer to steer clear of DeAndre Jordan. If he's still there at 16 and there are no other legitimate options AT ALL, then yea i guess.

Remember, this guy is a center, and last I checked we already went through 4 years of torture waiting for Dalembert to develop.

We need to take the BPA at either PF, SG, or PG. SF and C should be the least of our concerns.

I don't see the skills or smarts in Jordan to become the next Dwight. Every time I saw him, I always thought "man, if this guy gets it, he could be scary, but I wouldn't count on him ever getting it".

Perfectly put. When I watched him play... I saw the size and body to really be something... but I didn't see him doing much on the court that gave me the feeling like he could ever blossom into something more than a big man off of the bench.

Then again... he's young and who knows. Crazier things have happened.

I think it might be time to bring the name "Tito" back. I believe there are less Tito's in the sports' world now then there have been at any other point over the last 30 years. I feel like it should be placed on the Endangered Names List.

Yep...same thing with Hardin. The more I saw him this season, the more I wondered what he was doing on the court. Someone will draft Jordan before 16 b/c young big men with athleticism don't fall off trees, but I think he has a long road to being a solid NBA center. Whoever takes him better have a Bynum plan in place to develop him over 2 seasons or so...although Bynum is a much more athletic player.
