Sendem referred to the Mulligan. I believe that's a term in the card game called Magic: The Gathering where you essentially can skip a turn to replenish your hand. In this case, I'll make a far better proposal for the future of the Sixers. The Plan's still the same though.

Outlook: We finished the season strong and yet somewhat mediocre in a disappointing finish in the 1st round of the playoffs. As a fan, I

- Samuel Dalembert will never net you the #3 pick.

- Telfair is going into his 5th NBA season.... not his 3rd.

- Antoine Walker sucks

- I highly doubt Elton Brand opts out for that offer

Well, you get points for going big. But you lose them for going unrealistic.

And a mulligan, by the by, as used in Magic (technically a Paris mulligan): at the beginning of the game, if you don't care for the cards in your hand, you may shuffle them back in and draw a new starting hand of one fewer card than you previously had. There are other types of mulligan, but they're no longer used. The term originated, I believe, in golf, where it was simply dropping a new ball and taking another shot.

I want no part of McGrady on the Sixers.

Sam won't get you the #3 pick, he isn't that good.

Who runs point? Telfair is a bust. Lou Will isn't ready yet.

That team would have McGrady out with a back injury by midseason.

Check out the thread that I made on this same Sixers offseason moves topic. You have a penchant for acquiring players with HUGE question marks. I respect that you are better than making a thread that has the Sixers acquiring LBJ or CP3 but you are on the opposite end of the spectrum acquiring players that no one wants or are unattainable for the low value you offered.

McGrady has a reasonable 3 yr deal. So I can't see why people would be opposed to him other then being in his prime combined with the injury problems. It's not like you can't win a championship with Tracy McGrady. And it's not like we can get better then him either. In 08 or 09 free agency/trades.

But I make the case, that if every team shied away from a star player/players because they've been on the wrong side of the injury bug, then many a teams would be losing championships. The fact is, my proposed plan brings 2 All-stars to the Sixers. Think of another possibility of which this happens.

Remember that the Minnesota Timberwolves trade DOESN'T HAVE to happen. You can merely keep Dalembert and draft a guy at 16. That, and if Telfair truly is a "bust". Then we're taking a bust and Walker off of their hands. That should give them a little incentive for accepting the deal.

The Lakers have Derek Fisher as their PG, enough said. Fisher's solid handles and shooting ability. Louis Williams is a playmaker. Telfair can develop into a playmaker. And if not Telfair, we can sign a young PG like Ramon Sessions or Chris Duhon. Or trade for Thabo Sefolosha.

You get 2 mulligans. 1 on the front 9 and one on the back 9. Only tee shots.

Derek Fisher is 1 million times better than Lou Williams. Let's start with his defense, mistake free leadership, and efficient shot making.

dude, you amaze me. If people don't agree with your opinions. you get all butt hurt and think they are wrong. you think you are the only sixer fan that means anything. Why don't you just write, call or talk with the sixer organization and tell them what they should or shoulden't do to help the team
