I knew Derrick Rose was short. Just think last year at this time he was said to be a 6'5" PG.

How about Patrick Ewing having a 42 inch vertical?? I think he'll be a nice pick in the 2nd round for some team.

How is Alexander as big and better at every stat then Arthur? He is longer, bigger, stronger, faster and a better leaper.
So Arthur is a prototypical PF but Alexander is a SF?

They don't have a "measurement" for how well you box out, defend bigs, and score interior baskets. You normally have to watch the games to ascertain those values. Apparently Arthur right now is better at doing those things than Alexander...Arthur's measurements and skill set have BUST written all over them.

His standing reach CAN'T be right. They say it's only 8'1" while he's 6'6" with a 7'0" wingspan.
They must have meant to put 8'11"...

Love actually helped himself out a bit with the agility drills.
He has a better standing reach than Troy Murphy & a similar one to Drew Gooden. (both pretty effective rebounders) No he isn't an physical marvel like Dwight Howard, but he's pleanty big to play PF.

I don't think anyone really has said Arthur is a "prototypical PF". Actually, all I have heard about him is that he's more a tweener. Probably not skilled enough to play SF, but he's not really physical so playing PF in the NBA will take some adjusting. I think he will be fine offensively, but defense would be my concern for him.
I think Alexander has also been seen as a bit of a tweener. No one ever saw him as a PF, but when he bulked up over the last year or so, people started to think he could see spot minutes at PF in the NBA.

I think the guy who dropped to at least the second pick is Michael Beasley. At 6'8, he's no longer a big PF. More of a SF/PF Hybrid like Carmelo Anthony.

Rudy Gay even has a higher standing reach and vertical leap than Beasley. But you can't measure "timing," and that's what Beasley possesses in abundance.
