Owner Waiting List: wow444, JD76ers, roseorbust for teams with picks
*If the owner of a team does not "check in" by posting at least an hour before the pick is due. That team will lose their pick to one of the teams on the waiting list. CinciSixersFan will post to determine who will assume the pick

Just like last year, we are running a mock draft that includes the ability for the owner to make deals.

1. All deals may include picks and must work in the trade checker, please provide trade ID #'s. If you want to pull a 3-way or 4-way deal, feel free to do so, but you'll need the agreement of all owners.

2. Each owner has 12 hours on the clock to complete a deal or make their selection. This should give everyone enough flexibility to "wheel and deal" or to decide who they want to take. You certainly are more than welcome to turn your pick in early, but the next pick will still be due at the time listed above.

3. All owners please stay active on this thread. If we haven't heard from the owner on the clock, a poll will be put up with the best players available that the entire group will vote on. Also, if its a situation where we have a completely absentee owner, then some of the other folks who have shown interest will be given the absentee owner's team.

4. Use the messasge board, instant messenger or provide your email address to negotiate.

Post selections here on this thread and we'll run a tally.

Mods can we please get this stickied?

This is beautiful.

I'm way psyched to play Sam Presti on SEA.

BTW, Wilcox is on the block. Officially

Also, the #4 will listen to offers from picks 5

How do you match up the salaries of draft picks ? Or do you ? I'm all for #4 for #9 but how do I determine what salary for the filler .Trade Checker doesn't seem to include draft picks.

You don't have to match up picks or salaries in the trade checker. Just use it for the players involved in the deal. The swapping of picks will be up to the owners involved to determine whats acceptable.

Draft picks do not have salaries associated with them. For trading purposes, the count as $0 before and after they are picked. Once they officially sign a contract, then they get a "trading salary" and can only be traded within the cap rules.

Ok, I'm Sacramento and Cleveland

Kings- Looking to get into the top 10 and willing to deal anyone. Would like to move Brad Miller and my glut of scoring two guards John Salmons, Quincy Douby, or maybe Francisco Garcia. If I can't move up, I'll might consider moving back if someone is willing to take SAR or KT's contract off my hands.
Untouchable- Kevin Martin and Spencer Hawes

Cleveland- Wouldn't mind moving up. Everyone is available except for Bron-Bron. I have a bunch of expirings coming up in Wally, Snow, and Joe Smith

Warriors, no untouchables...looking for versatile, athletic big man (they grow on trees, right??)

Raptors, Bosh is untouchable...looking for a legit big man to put next to him.

Its a shame we can't do some type of sign and trade to add Jameson to the deal. That would give Wash two stars ages 24-25, while Denver could make a more serious and balance run with AI, Jameson, Camby and Butler.

As GM of the Clippers, before I make any legitimate announcements, the first order of business is to fire Mike Dunleavy. Not like it matters, but consider him gone. To replace him....... [in a Sean Connery voice] a leather glove.

Now, as for official business, the Clippers would like to look into offers for the 6th pick. Consider the pick very available. What we're mainly looking for is a PG, prospect SG, and/or back-up big men. Inquiries into players' status is encouraged.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As GM of the Hornets, we are looking to move up, or trade our pick altogether. Either way, we would like to package Julian Wright and Mike James with the pick, but we are definitely up to negotiating. Inquiries into players' status is encouraged.

As GM of the Nets, I am open to just about anything. Obviously we're going with youth now that Kidd is gone and we have Harris running our squad so moving Jefferson or Carter is not out of the question.

I also have some solid young players that are not untradeable as well in Sean Williams and Marcus Williams. Let's make it happen!
