Seeing his long face on the bench didn't mean he was unhappy. Booth invoked his player option for the league minimum, and will be back protecting the bench next year.

I don't begrudge Booth for taking money when he can get it.
It's just hard to understand why King gave him a player option in the first place.

This was one of King's remarkable skills: bidding against himself. Was Calvin Booth so sought after that we needed to get him for {i] two [/i] years? If only BK had learned to be prudent with contracts, he could have been a very good GM.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I'm resting easy now that I know Calvin Booth is back in a Sixers uniform....
