-- by the way... dont rule out the possibility that the sixers could be used as the third or even fourth team in a deal that simply involves rasheed.

for instance if the pistons wanted to trade sheed for diaw, the suns might be interested, but he doesnt make enough. in that situation if the suns want cap room, we would take rasheed, the pistons get diaw, and the suns get some cap room, evans, and wg. that kind of scenario could play out with several teams around the league depending on what the pistons want for rasheed. in every case the team that has cap room to make the deal work usually ends up with a draft pick and or young player from at least one of the teams involved.

Good point psyko. That's the big cost I think of a Randolph trade. Not being able to use capspace to faciliitate a big trade this offseason.

No, he hates anyone who he feels he's superior to, unless they agree with him. Of course that's everyone on the board.

right, but you have to weigh the benefit of both deals. whats better? rasheed wallace for a year ( then his ending contract) plus a couple of mid round picks from the teams involved... or randolph for 3 years, plus teh #6?

either way there is a benefit. it seems like the bigger commitment gets the bigger reward

Now that Curry's coaching, 'Sheed's staying.

You heard it here.
