From Rotoworld:
The New York Post's Marc Berman suggests that David Lee may not remain with the Knicks, even if he's not packaged in a draft-night deal to get O.J. Mayo.

Would you trade maybe the 16th pick for him. I dont really know what it would take though. I always thought he was a pretty good PF that for some reason rides the bench with the Knicks

Considering the amount of big man talent that will available at #16, I would say no but I wouldn't be heartbroken if that did happen.

The odds of getting a more productive player than David Lee at #16 are slim, so I'd most likely do it unless a better option presented itself.

The main holdup for me would be figuring out the long-term salary cap ramifications as Lee is likely to ask for a significant contract.

No David Lee is a punk I want nothing to do with him after what he did to Lou Williams.

I'd trade #16 for David Lee in a New York second.

A year ago I would have made that trade for a pick in the same range in a heartbeat, but the future contract issue is a big sticking point with me. Lee is not a low-post scorer of any repute and often gets his shots blocked or altered. He is a nice, hard nosed player, decent defensively, but not a shut down defender. Very good rebounder, a good complement to a high-scoring center. All that being said, he is a nice player who is now much closer to becoming an over-paid, mediocre talent. The over-hype he received from playing in NY will only serve to elevate his price farther above his value. Think Kenny Thomas in a year or two.

No, David Lee is the most overrated player in the NBA by the media and the fans because he hustles and is a high energy player. He is a young Reggie Evans, I rather keep the pick and get some talent.

I didn't know Evans could average double figures on 55-60% shooting and over 80% from the line.
Lee would be a great addition to this team. I would have to consider trading the 16th pick for him, though, it's possible.
