What about Ricky?

Do the sixers still own Ricky Sanchez's rights? Has he been making any strides towards being an NBA player? I know he can shoot it, and has great length...which sounds like something the sixers need. So what about Ricky?

I've heard nothing, which leads me to believe that he isn't part of our plans for the foreseeable future.

Does anyone know if he's on the summer league roster?

I feared this was a thread about a former poster here AKA satan. :-)

I have no idea what Ricky Sanchez' status is though. Maybe Phil Jasner knows... it wouldn't hurt to e-mail him.

I watched a few D-League games last year and was not impressed at all with him. He's one of those bigs who likes to play small. He spent the entire game wandering around the 3pt line and jacked 3 after 3. In one game the annoncers killed him continously over the fact that he has good size, but doesn't use it to his avantage at all.

According to ESPN we still hold the rights to both Ricky Sanchez and the immortal Edin Bavcic. Perhaps one of them will get bit by a radioactive spider, then we might have something there.

I though I heard Ricky and Edin are doing well in South America- didn't they join up with Tskitishvili to form a Eurotrash boy band? They asked Darko to join, but he had contractual obligations.

I admit I have too much time on my hands... need some good FA news.
