Eddie House is available isn't he?

On a side note how good would Bayless have looked on our team. :D

I don't think a SF would fit here because now Thad will be getting most, if not all of his playing time there. Then Iguodala will probably be getting the rest of those minutes. It would be best to get a guard for our outside shooter, someone to replace Green.

^^^ I agree.

Shooting guard is a more fulfilling need. Although, a shooter is a shooter.

Maybe we can swing a deal to Minnesota for McCants.

Jason Smith for Rashad McCants.

He shot 40 % from 3pt. range last season, while hitting 142/349 shots.

Here are some more names to throw out there of guys who can hit the three, who may be available:

Steve Blake, Francisco Garcia, Keith Bogans, Martell Webster, Roger Mason

Rashad McCants is the reason they passed up OJ Mayo. It'd be hard to get McCants.

Gimme Martell Webster though, he hasn't put it together, but he's a SG/SF that can still do so.

ok explain to me why we dont' need a backup SF? consensus is that Thaddeus is gonna start right? Well that would bring Lou, Green, Smith, and Marresse as well as Reggie off the bench. Theres one glaring hole and that is the SF position. If stay with the same 2-3 with willie and iggy then ill understand going after a SG instead of a SF.

You just switch it up...Willie at the 2, Iggy at the 3 when Thad goes and rests...But yeah I agree, it sucks that we lost carney. He was a legitimate SF, who could shoot the 3, and play pestering defense...Dammit willaaaaay!!!

Keep in mind we only have the 1 Million dollar exception( A player has to be in the league a certain amount of years to qualify for this, otherwise i think the minimum is like 500,000) to sign free veteran free agents & to trade for some of the guys mentioned we would have to match salaries, which would not be easy without giving up someone expected to be in our rotation.

Hey guys, Minnesota fan here.

The consensus over on the Wolves board is that McCants is available. A lot of fans don't like him because he's a volume shooter with very little else. Doesn't play good (if any) defense, is foul prone and doesn't really rebound or assist much..

With that said, I still think he's a very talented player. Since he's been drafted, he's always been one of the most talented offensive players for the Wolves. It really depends on what you'd give up for him. Maybe one of you could go over to the Wolves board and propose a trade.
