1. Boston
2. Detroit
3. San Antonio
4. Cleveland are the 4 defensive teams that are better than us IMO

I think we could push Cleveland for #4 on that list.

Houston is up there. We're better than Cleveland.

I think the difference with the Sixers and also what makes them an elite defensive team in the league is that our starting unit of Andre Miller, AI2, Thad (if improved this off season which is very likely), Brand and Sammy are all non-defensive liabilities and because of their length, they can be lock down defenders with their positions. And that makes us a scary on the defensive end.

1.) Celtics
2.) Spurs
3.) Detroit
4.) Sixers

Its tough to say where we stand with the rest of the league since we haven't seen the Brand effect as of yet. Judging on our success on the defensive end last year and the addition of a prototypical defensive big man, I'd put us behind only Detroit, Boston, San Antonio, and Houston when healthy. The difference between us and all of them is that we will be a tough defensive team for many years to come.

Without going through and really thinking about it (aka, just a quick guestimation), top 7. Possibly top 5. I think we're definitely behind the celtics, spurs and pistons (barring a team blow up by the pistons).

I can't really judge, we had an awesome shutdown defense in the latter part of the regular season, then against the Pistons we kinda became a turnover team and didn't do much else (the layup lines we gave Detroit this year)

But, We will get better, and yeah I think we are #4 with Brand in the lineup instead of Willie
