I think he is the shooter that this team is missing. He is making the minimum, and so because he is not a free agent, probably all we would have to give up for him is something like a future protected 2nd round pick.
He shot 48% from three, and the Rockets don't really need him anymore. Donte Green just scored 40 points in his first summer league game, and he will most likely replace Novak. With Novak, our lineup would look like this (assuming we resign iggy and lou):
PG: Miller/Lou
SG: Iggy/Green
SF: Thad/Novak/Evans
PF: Brand/Evans/Speights/Novak
C: Daly/Smith/Speights
I'd say he instantely improves the lineup. Do you think we could get him?
