Correct Pronunciation

For Speights. Is it Speets, Spites, or Spates? I think I have heard them all and I believe that the last one is correct. But just making sure.

I've heard "Spates" in interviews, and other recordings. I originally thought it was "Spites" but "Spates" seems accurate
