One more Move? (ESPN)
There is an ESPN headline that reads, Sixers close to signing Igoudala, then looking to make one more move?
What do you think that move could be?
Is anyone an insider?

Re: One more Move? (ESPN)
they lost jason smith who was expected to contribute. logic would suggest they need a body to replace his spot....
dont be sucked in by their teasers, they like to make you think there is big news to report, but they'll probably just pick up a 7foot stiff for the minimum

Yes, their inside information is Stefanski telling the Inquirer and Daily News that he is still looking to add another big man. Something he said after the Brand signing, even before Smith got hurt. It will be a minimum salary, one year contract player, so don't expect announcement that we got Duncan to play center coming any time soon.

After the Bucks got taken to the cleaners for Mo Williams by the Cavs, I think I would like to take the Heat to the cleaners by taking Haslem from them for Evans and Green. I am sure everybody here will say, oh the Heat would not make that deal. In the meantime some other teams take teams to the cleaners. I was going through the Bucks board and they hate the deal. In the meantime the Cavs still have Delonte West and they like JJ Hickson.

I have a hunch we'll be signing someone soon who's played around 11 minutes in his nba career and hasn't scored a point.

Somebody is on Philaphans putting a RUMOR out there that a possible deal would be Green to the Cavs and a S&T West coming here. FWIW.

If that's the deal, then its an indicator of 2 things
1)Ed/Mo don't feel like Lou is the PG of the future, but I doubt that since they were swift to lock Lou up.
2)They want to secure their PG position and since West can play a little SG. Green isn't missed. West/Lou are two exciting young PG prospects. They could even form a tandem together.

Hmm..I don't know about that philaphans site. I don't really think it's anything credible at all. In fact, I feel as though it is the opposite of credible.

Its not so much non-credible as it is a hellhole.
I'm almost scared to post there in fear of people screaming at me with apologist and aids bath references.
It's much tamer/better here (no offense to the people from here who post there, because you all seem normal).
But anyways, I can't believe people over there are not jumping all over the Willie deal, I'd send him for a sack of potatoes, let alone an actual outside threat. I hope this is real.

I post on PhilaPhans and have never heard of the poster who posted the WG rumor and there was no link or source noted. I would take that with a huge grain of salt.

Somehow someway, I wish we could make that deal.

Re: One more Move? (ESPN)
I'd be worried about signing West to a long term deal like Green has. Neither will get paid a ton, but neither will ever contribute all that much. I guess West is the better player- or at least the better shooter, but neither are better than 9th men on a contender.
Is West really an upgrade over Green? He shoots a bit better, but I think Green is a bit better off the ball and driving (when he choses to and on the break.) Both are decent defenders who are undersized, neither can really lead a team at the point.
I actually think if Green could get his head out of his... and drive more and settle for jumpers less he would be the better fit on this team. But then again, I've seen no indication Green will learn to play to his strengths- but maybe his reduced role will force him to earn minutes with defense and drives.

West is another poor player as tk pointed out. Would he help? I guess. It is like... would you rather have Torrence Small or Charles Johnson... give me Small. Does he still suck? Yup.

Some excellent points on Willie Green. He must learn to play to his strength. Keep driving to the hoop Willie.
