Another NBA player going overseas for more coin. I didn't read anything about him contemplating signing there, so this was a little bit of a surprise to me.

Oh, wow, didn't see that one coming. I thought he was all but signed with the Spurs. Where did you see it? Let me guess - Dynamo Moscow? They've been trying to sign a combo guard all summer. Made offers to Delonte West and Flip Murray, but both decided to stay in the NBA. He fit the bill. I know a Greek team whose name I will never be able to spell was also looking for another American guard. Spurs were offering to pay him $1.5 million, so he probably got twice that to go overseas.

But he's not safe over there! Hasn't he heard about the black plague? And the gypsies!!! Oh those terrible gypsies!!!!!!!

Not to mention Vladimir Putin, anyone who's followed international politics over the last 3 years must be wary of the dangerous threat he poses. He's trying to turn Russia into either a dictatorship or a communism(see, "appointing" somebody as president and then getting the Prime Minister seat)

Jannero Pargo could whup Vladimir Putin's ass if need be

Good move for him. He's worth more than the offers he was getting. Anyone else notice the trend of tying up the big money on a chosen few and trying to get very serviceable players to play for the minimum? It seems to be getting worse.
