The Elton Brand Effect
Has anyone else noticed that we seem to be getting a lot more prominently placed articles on RealGM since news broke we were signing Brand? I know the main reason is because we have been one of the most (if not the most) active team this offseason. Still I can't help but wonder if our new superstar legitimizes the team a little more in the media's eyes just in terms of general interest in team-related articles. You know it's a slow news day when Theo Ratliff signing for the vet min is the main headline news. My point being that since we are now being hailed contenders for the East by quite a few, will we see as many articles on our Sixers as the Pistons, Cavs, and of course the Celtics, who seem to have an article written about them everytime Kendrick Perkins sneezes. Hopefully this is sign of good things to come with more nationally televised games and better coverage.

You should probably change the name of the title, because it's literally exactly the same as a topic only a page back (in fact, I don't see how you could make this topic at all, the only difference is the "e" in effect is capitalized).
While the attention is good I guess, I'd rather us stay under the radar for now, we haven't proven squat yet.
