Michael Beasley. The Heat will have a good season, thus earning him much attention.

Rose...Chicago is a year removed from being considered the young team of the future, they have weapons, and he should do well. Bayless is a candidate as well...super quick and surrounded by a ton of talent.

Oden. Him and Roy are going to lead Portland deep into the playoffs this year. I can see a Hornets/Blazers conference final happening.

I think Beasley will win RoY but the rookie who will have the best career will be Oden.

Oden will have a stellar year I reckon. Seems like he's the "slept on" one out of the rookies.

It's a deep class this year. Maybe the rookies will even beat the sophomores for once...

I wish the Sixers could've got Anthony "Slim" Randolph. :D

Now that we have seen the results of the poll, its's time to tell Don Nelson, can Anthony Randolph come out and play, please? :D

Randolph will be lucky just to get on the floor, let alone win the ROY.

I think Oden, Beasley and Mayo all have the chance to do it. I doubt it will be Mayo because it's a team without a true post player, without a ready to step in PG, and with Rudy Gay being the primary scorer.

Great philospher Geiger, why will Randolph not get on the floor with a team that did not even make the playoffs last year? Geiger for a change make some sense, since you very really do. Do you ever defer on anything or are you the boy who is never lost for words, or are you a guy who just likes the last word . Thank God your not from Philadelphia! 8-) :onfire: :rofl2: :

Grew up on Olney Avenue there genius. Temple University. Life long Philly resident.

How many games did Golden State win last season? Who are the SFs and PFs on Golden State's roster? How many minutes did Don Nelson play last season's lottery pick and first round pick, both of whom absolutely dominated the Summer League?

That's right genius. All you do is talk and when facts creep up, your genius looks like idiocy.

Not to come in defending geiger or anything, but ROY normally goes to a guy who scores. Jason Kidd is the only rookie since Kidd's rookie year to not be in the top 3 in scoring and be a unanimous all-rookie team selection or something like that. That isn't ROY, but you get the idea I think. Anthony Randolph, in college, had a tough time scoring some points. His shooting efficiency was in the toilet and, if my memory serves, he feasted on the weak and played terribly against any real compeition.

I wouldn't have Randolph in my top 10. Then again, I didn't have him in my top 20 come draft night and really thought Maresse Speights wouldn't be there at our pick, so what do I know.

I would say Beasley is the obvious frontrunner personally. Followed by Mayo, and whoever else is in a great situation to get starters minutes.

Randolph is a project who is behind several people at PF. Turiaf and Harrington come to mind immediately.

Dark horse candidate. Will be tough with Durant getting the shots and Watson splitting the time with him.
