I've been trying to get an answer to this question so I'll throw it out to the board:
I live in Philly and have DirecTV. So far I've only been able to watch the Sixers when the games are being broadcasted on TNT. Even then, there have been times when Comcast (who owns the broadcast rights to the Sixers) will black out home games so it's only available on CSN.
Is League Pass subject to black outs? I'm thinking of getting it for the upcoming season but I wouldn't want to find out that I still can't watch home games.

Yes it is. To watch the Sixers in the Philly market you gotta get CSN.

Re: Comcast/DirecTV/League Pass Question
I freakin hate comcast. I have no choice but to pay for it. It is a monopoly. If i get direct tv i can't get phillies or sixers games.. But yet, I live 2 hours north of Philly and Comcast does not offer the NBA league pass in my area. If i lived 1 hour south in Allentown i could get the NBA pass... Makes no sense.

Get RCN. RCN has Comcast Sportsnet. I can personally attest to that. And the bill is cheaper then Comcast oh Yeah!

What is RCN???
Hey Iversonsmom I feel your pain.
In November I'll be moving down to Rehoboth Beach DE,which is about 2 1/2 hrs. south of Philly, but even then I'm pretty sure I'll still be stuck with having to get Comcast to watch the Sixers.

I'm not sure if this was already posted, or if this was worthy enough news for a new thread, so I found this topic as the most suitable place to post it.
