10-14 minutes a game is he's lucky. He probably won't get more than Smith did last year. Sure, we lost Smith, but added Marshall, Evans and Ratliff to the bench.

Uh Stanford: Evans has always been with us :D. We added Marshall and Ratliff. But as proven by Mo, Marshall will be very situational and likely at the 3-4. And Theo is really on his last legs and can only give us 15 minutes a night tops.

Speights will get 15+ MPG. He's that good.

I think Stanford was speaking of Evans as being an addition to the bench by moving from the starting line-up where he spent most of last year. Otherwise you are right on. Ratliff is pretty much done and Marshall can't really defend. Speigths time may be determined to a greater extent by the amount of time Mo uses a small line-up with Brand at C and Evans or Young at PF. If Speights is getting 12-14 mpg to start the season that would be pretty impressive.

I said he was added to the bench.

You admit that Ratliff will play around Smiths minutes from last year. Where are Speight's minutes coming from?

With Dalembert playing 30+ minutes and Brand playing 35+, it won't be possible to always have three big men coming off the bench. And we even have a potential four. So not every player will play every game, that's for sure. To start the season, it will most likely just be Ratliff and Evans primarily coming in. Marshall will only play from time to time while Speights slowly gets worked into the mix. Eventually he should become that first big man off the bench. How soon that happens, we don't know. It may not even happen this season. Injuries can change everything, but hopefully we won't be so lucky...
