I saw Sweden vs England in Euro Women quarterfinals.

I'm really pissed about the way we lost the game. England was pretty weak for a defending champion, to lose the game in two goals in two minutes is very annoying. I went emotionally from heaven to hell, enjoying seeing this England team losing 2-0 and then losing the game in the worst way possible in the penalty shootout. The Swedish ladies had two chances to finish off the shootout in the lead. Losing to Spain in WC was acceptable seeing they were so dominant, losing to a team with shaky defence that you should have scored against in the extra time is so much worse. This felt more horrific than losing a final. Shame Aslani deserved better.

Congratulations, I missed the game live but i want to watch the full replay. Just saw Germany won news in The Athletic. Feel nostalgic like when I was a teen and Germany dominated this sport. :)

Italy concede in the 95th minute and now they’re level in the second half of OT
I feel your pain if Italy go on to lose this

Lmao how is that a penalty?
It's time for 5 refs.

Utterly ridiculous call at any moment of the game, let alone at this stage in the second half of overtime. Wtf ?!?!!
England player felt a bit of contact on the arm and went straight down — and the ref fell for the oldest trick in the book

Yeah i don't know if I should feel the bad for Italy or be glad theirs fans joined me in the misery of losing in the last seconds.
Equaliser in 96 minute and England's winner in 119th minute is somehow worse timing to lose. That teenager in England is like their last second superheroine. :o

It’s the nonsense PK decision that did it for me. Still baffled by it.
Kudos to the teenager. She hit the crossbar off a nifty little shot about 5 mins or so before they were gifted the pk. That shot had me out of my seat, jaw dropped for a moment as I thought she’d scored it. Would’ve much rather lost on that than a ref decision

Don't think England have much chance of beating Spain, but this team keeps making finals. Wiegman has them playing with great togetherness and belief despite not really playing the best football so far this tournament. Hope we can make it back-to-back, but I'm doubtful.

Back-to-back, England have done it again. Winning on penalties and last minute goals rather than losing... You love to see it. Hannah Hampton, take a bow.
