That's good chunk of money for Chelsea for a month's work

The way they defended as an 11 man unit reminded me so much of that performance in Porto against Manchester City.

Unbelievable spirit from this group. PSG were tactically, physically and psychologically defeated today.

Chelsea fans across the globe should feel extremely proud.

You couldn't see João Pedro's run from the original broadcast camera.

> Hard scans Pedro, which sets up Vitinha until the very last action, can't commit either way
> Nearly takes his ACL with the fake pass which leaves him in acres of space
> Fake shot
> Takes Beraldo completely out of the play + knee nearly does a 360° spin
> Freezes Dollarumma
> Slots it into the bottom corner

One of the most nuanced goals I've ever seen. Cole Palmer is a genius.

Also finally got to see how our midfield stacked up against what was being heralded as the best young core of this generation.

Even without Lavia, Caicedo ate Neves and Vitinha up with a fork & knife.

Would be exciting to wrap these up.

Technical and mental levels rising with every transfer.

Just last season under Pochettino we were lining up with 6'8 375lb Axel Disasi as a traditional right back and Levi Colwill as a left back. The team was BUILT AROUND Conor Gallagher, bless his heart but his stand-out attributes are every and anything WITHOUT the football.

I was seeing Ben Chilwell at left wing in big games. If not Ben Chilwell it was washed Raheem Sterling stealing money from my club and disrespecting the badge.

There's been a massive elevation in not only squad talent but competitiveness for spot and the manager, Sir Enzo Maresca OBE, is the final infinity stone central to the entire operation.

Reports of Saudi/Ronaldo interested in signing Cucurella, untouchable asset for me. Would reject a bid of £100 million.

Outside of the fact that he's an absolute warrior & one of the very best in world football in his position, he's a culture mover. Highly respected and adored individual at the club that has bonded a youthful squad together. Everything about his story has made him one of my favourite footballers ever.
