Started watching El Classico, which started before 8 AM here.

Two quick goals for Mbappe, Barca gets one back. I go to get breakfast and the score is 4-2 Barca at the half?

Curtois and Szechny are goal keepers, in their mid 30s, though these goals probably not the fault of the GKs.

Both teams have makeshift back fours and defending has been optional today.
It's time for 5 refs.

La Liga 2025-26 season kicks off now with Girona vs Rayo Vallecano followed by Villarreal vs Real Oviedo.

Who do we think takes it this season? Barca, Real, or someone else?

Barca wins just because Real has no control midfielder or enough balance in the midfield.
De Jong -Pedri etc is world class. Camavinga is too injury prone and still they have no wingers/strikers who can track back.

hat trick for Villareal's Canadian Tajon Buchanan yesterday after his season at Inter last year got derailed by injury.

meanwhile, no surprise as Mbappe (2) and Vini are on the score sheet for Real.
