Liverpool may have avoided disaster late in injury time to draw a goal closer.
Brenford fell asleep.

Brentford players are furious, leading 2-0 in 45 min, they announce 3 min added time and Liverpool scores 5 min! into added time with no obvious stoppages. Of course ref calls half right after kick off there in a drowning boos from Brentford crowd.

Karma gets Liverpool lol... initially ref given a foul on Van Dijk outside the box but VAR spots that foul happened right on the line on the box and awards penalty. 3-1 Brentford.

Great game by Brentford. Brave, attacking, causing Liverpool all kind of problems. Should have scored more than 3.

Wow 4 straight losses in the PL for Liverpool.
New signings need to produce or they may have to look for more help in January.

It's early but Bournemouth and Sunderland are #2 and #3.

This is a great start to the season for us, assuming that these latest injuries aren't severe. It's very nice to finally have crazy depth.

Spurs with a fantastic 3-0 win at Everton, dug in and defended very well. Somehow we're sitting in third.
I'm enjoying how much better we are at set pieces under Frank, both offensively and defensively. We've seen how effective they've been for teams like Arsenal, so it's clear how much of a weapon a dogged defence plus regimented set pieces can be, particularly while our open play creativity is a touch lacking.

why was ange always acting like working hard on defence and being tough on set pieces was beneath him?
Frank is building a good base for spurs to build off of

Couldn't tell you. Ange strikes me as an arrogant and inflexible person but without any of the tactical cachet to back it up.
Forest conceded 11 times from set-pieces under Postecoglou - more than twice as much as any other Premier League side in that time. Postecoglou's first game against Arsenal saw them concede two goals from set-pieces. His last match at Forest saw them concede all three from dead-ball scenarios.
I mean, look at that record when he was Forest manager. That's absolutely atrocious, and it's not by accident. I know that we as fans sometimes joke about Pulis tactics and "Brexit ball", but set pieces are essential to teams at any level, and the snobbery is misplaced.
