Solanke is a good PL striker, James Maddison is one of the better creators you'll find in England, Kulusevski is a high level RW. All out for some time now.

Build-up patterns at times it feels like lump it to Kudus and hope he can samba his way out of trouble and they didn't really start playing through the middle until the very end. Xavi looked bright when he came on. Constantly probing in dangerous zones willing to receive the ball and make something happen. I still think he'll be a very integral player for them.

Was a techy game on both sides, felt like the pen was harsh but Newcastle probably carried play slightly better. The draw seems fair in the end lmao.

That's a fair analysis. We have huge problems when teams press us man-to-man, as when we do try to get the ball up the pitch, the opposition push up to force errors and turnovers. We lack technicians and natural ball carriers so, yeah, we often try to get the ball to Kudus and he needs to somehow hold his man off, turn and then beat players on his own. Or he lays it off to Porro, to lump in an inaccurate cross.

We're still trying to figure out the balance of our midfield. Personally, I don't like Bentancur/Sarr/Bergvall as the midfield trio. Xavi simply needs to play, as without Kulu and Maddison we don't have any creativity outside of Kudus. Let him play through his mistakes and get a feel for the PL pace, as right now the coaching staff are fumbling his development hard.

Yea you have some odd profiles. Sarr is a master of all / master of none sort of player & he seems to run super hot and cold. Bentancur and Palhinha are there trying to win the ball back but provide very little on it. Bergvall looked really sharp as well. Messed up some final actions but he has some pretty special tools.

I'm not really sure what Spurs need to tie it all together. Maybe they should be trying to go all out for an Adam Wharton type of player that constantly wants to collect from the CBs and can then open up space for everyone else. Would probably give Sarr more of a chance to be a B2B midfielder instead of feeling like he has to channel Carrick.

When are those injured Spurs players coming back? Have they played at all this season?

Yeah, no Solanke, Kulusevski or Maddison all season so far.

Solanke and Kulu will be back soon, Maddison will likely miss the season.

MASSIVE result for Villa at Brighton.

First home loss for Brighton for the season. To go down 2-0 and then fightback was outstanding. Losing Martinez in the warm up wasn't ideal, but Bizot is such a good back up, even though he was poor on their first goal (it shouldn't have been a corner anyway), but he also made a few great saves. Fantastic to see Ollie back on the goal sheet...he needed that boost

To be goal less and winless after the first month of the season, and not sitting outright 3rd on the EPL table and Europa League Table is some turnaround.

Big game against Arsenal at Villa Park this weekend. Will be a tough one, as I'm not sure there's a better team in the world currrently on form than Arsenal, but here's hoping for a result.

Interesting results for Liverpool and Chelsea. Yay for Leeds, they always seem to compete, though they haven't gotten results.

Sunderland has done well on some away fixtures this season, drawing at 2 of the 3 biggest clubs and winning at another.
