United paid nothing for Tevez yet. He's on loan and he's already made an impact worthy of league and champions league double. Anderson and Nani are doing very well and make a vital part of our depth. Bebratov is just starting to score winning goals and even Hargreaves who many consider to be a disappointment was vital in the champions league semis and finals. So no Villa is not worth that kind of impact.

nani: a huge disappointment for 15 mil pounds. park, who they got for a third of that amount, is outplaying him. nani doesnt even play against big clubs now. he's only a year younger than ronaldo too. i personally dont see anything in him

berbatov: scoring mostly against second-tier teams right now. very good player, but not worth 30 mil pounds IMO

anderson: they paid around 17 mil pounds for this kid. at least he's still very young. i think rafael is united's best prospect now, but anderson is good too.

hargreaves: 17 mil pounds. a lot of injuries. not that much better than fletcher and carrick.

hargreaves and tevez, like you said, have actually contributed to last year's success, so i guess those two werent that bad.

plus GBP are much cheaper now, so 70 mil euro for villa does sound like too much.

ps: speaking of united's transfers, was vidic a great buy or what.

I think you're underestimating Nani now. The only reason he's not playing much is because Sir. Alex likes his wingers to get back and block the fullbacks from making runs and Park does that very well. Nani still has produced some great goals like the screamer last weekend in the FA cup game. I think once Giggs retires, he'll see more playing time.

Other transfer news:

Robbie Keane back to Tottenham: Fee not disclosed, Benitez says about 3-4 million pounds. I hope it's a loan

Ricardo Quaresma loaned to Chelsea: Not surprising after Mourinho didn't write him in for the Champions League squad.

Aggelos Basinas loaned to Portsmouth for 1.5 years: Not that interesting, I know.

^^ I'd doubt that. Tevez has always maintained his interest in staying at United and he's been playing a lot of games to his liking off late since Rooney's injury so unless he's being over valued by the company owning his rights, I doubt United would let him leave.

Jo scores twice on debut for Everton on loan from Man City. Doubles his 6 month goal tally, in one match.

that c.ronaldo to real madrid is a lock and that if florentino perez wins real's presidency kaka would move to madrid.

Huh.. always happens before the Madrid elections. The last time they said they definitely got Ronaldo, they had to settle for Robben, Sneijder and later Van Der Vaart.

he'll end up there one day, would just prefer it to be later rather than sooner. Tosic and Nani need more time to develop.
