Werder Bremen claim German Cup after a (frankly bland) 1-0 vs Bayer Leverkusen. Diego and Özil were great for Bremen, whereas Bayer sucked balls, as usual his year. The women's cup was won by FCR Duisburg, who drubbed Turbine Potsdam 7-0 (!).

Congratulations to Werder Bremen and Duisburg.

Players have voted:

MVP: Edin Dzeko (Wolfsburg)
GOTY (Goalie): Robert Enke (Hannover)
COTY: Felix Magath (Wolfsburg)

BTW, they also voted for Worst Coach: Jürgen Klinsmann (Bayern)

Robert Enke? same Enke that got kicked out of Fenerbahce after 1 game? lol, he must have stepped his game up, he was terrible.

^^Enke has become REALLY good. Hannover has the worst defense in the league but still managed to finish as a midfielder. Believe it or not, Enke is the hottest candidate to stand in the German goal during the 2010 World Cup. GER has no shortage of good goalkeepers (Wiese, Neuer or Adler), but Enke is the current #1.

Ermin Zec will be coming to Schalke 04 this summer. The Bosnian and Croatian press have reported. Point Forward, you will love this lad, only 20 years old and Felix Magath saids he will develop the Bosnian lad in to a striker what Dzeko is. But Zec is a lot faster then Dzeko, but Zec is a lot shorter then Dzeko he is only 177 cm.

I obviously do not know Zec, but he seems a nice lad. Schalke is thirsting for a good striker. Bluntly said, if Zec can avoid being an idiot on and off the pitch (Kuranyi), dissing his fans (Farfan), being inconsistent as hell (Halil Altintop) or being allergic to goal scoring (Sanchez), his chances are decent.

Terminating the contract of a player after just one game isn't that smart.

true, Fenerbahce rarely does anything smart when it comes to personnel decisons and he didn't get a fair shake but i think there were doubts about him from get go stemming from past performances. i am glad he turned it around, he can hold the fort for the Germany until youngsters get some experience.

Edin Dzeko in the Bosnian interview. He said "he would like to stay with Wolfsburg but if wouldn't mind going elsewhere, but he also said within the next 10 days it should be known if he is staying or going"

That is the latest news information on Edin Dzeko.

The latest Dzeko rumor is that Olympique Lyon wants him. But frankly, why should he go there, except for the $$$? Lyon is 3rd and Wolfsburg is champion. I still want Grafite/Dzeko/Misimovic to remain.

Dzeko will probably stay, and if he does I see Wolfsburg winning the Bundesliga once again. They will probably add another piece to their line up. One of those piece can be another Bosnian from the Russian league and captain of Bosnia, Emir Spahic he is a great defender but the only negative thing about him he isn't getting any younger he is 28 years old now. But he is a great leader and has great vision sees plays really fast before they happen.

So if Wolfsburg can keep Dzeko and get Spahic they will without a doubt win the Bundesliga once again they can go really far in to the Champions League.

Dzeko scored 2 goals for Bosnia in today's friendly. The lad is out of this world, he will be even better next year.

Wolfsburg are "going to keep" Dzeko, not aroused by the AC Milan bid. His partner Grafite is going to extend his contract.

Bayern have bought Dutch international DF Edson Braafheid, Croatian international midfielder Dani Prandjic and are strongly interested in Bosingwa from Chelsea. Internationals Borowski and Lucio (surprisingly) are going to be axed.

Demba Ba from Hoffenheim rumored to go to Stuttgart for 20m, which would be flat out ridiculous. Hoffenheim themselves have bought Argentinian U18 star Franco Zuculini.

Bremen bought Marcelo Moreno from Donezk.

I'm really happy that Dzeko is staying with Wolfsburg. He can go next season to AC Milan, because they will pay more for him. It's going to be really fun to watch Wolfsburg in the Champions League.

And I'm surprised Hoffenheim signed Zuculini becasue we (Manchester United) were interested in signing him and so was Liverpool.
