OT: Very disappointed in your avatar. Expected more drool and less water, with the same amount of ponderous, manatee-like mammal .

It still won't let me change it.

And funny you mention the ponderous, manatee-like nature...I was planning to change my location (for the first time ever) to "Evolution in action: a land manatee" or something similar.

Edit: one might even call it a...Manotee. Har har har.

The analysts in my country say that Ronaldo shouldn't play up front but on a flank. I think I agree with that.

Lol. That guy scored too many huge goals against us. Good he's not here.

Portugal close to a goal here. That could mix up the brackets and set up a Netherlands-Portugal rematch in the quarters.

As im hopinh Portugal wins and gets a rematch. Because aside from Netherlands I find that side of the bracket fairly weak and should be an easier road to final.

Hmm, it could be Spain too in the next round... and then Netherlands. Imo that's up there with Germany and then Argentina which the English face.

but whoever gets to the semi's probably faces the weakest semi finalist though, yeah

Brzail can't do nothing wrong with this ref. That 'advantage' call was ridiculous.

Im really dissapointed in this game. Portugals performance was ok but Queiroz still made the mistake of changing the lineup which was jsut wrong. They should of played to win the group not just not lose badly.

Unimpressed by Brazil today but still scared **** for the quarters... just having seen Brazil-biased reffing doesn't help settle the nerves either, bad memories..

I think both next round matches of these groups will be tight games though (expect Spain and Chile to advance).

Winning the group might not be a huge benefit...the odds are good that they would end up facing Spain, while Chile is probably a somewhat easier draw.

Def possible. But looking over the bracket I cant help but think the left top side of the bracket would be easy pickings if the first round match isnt Spain on the left side. Only trouble team I would see if the Netherlands. While on the right your looking at Spain which is likely and Argentina and Germany.
I jsut prefer the left side I guess.

Only one of Argentina/Germany though. Only one of them can go past the QF.

It really depends on Spain I suppose. I guess I'm gonna hope they end first and that Chile puts out Brazil, lol. ;)
A Spain-Brazil clash could cause for a lot of suspensions and fatigue though...
