For the Korean? Come on. It was a dive. I know you have Breitner in your avy but come on. ;)

Uruguay loading up on the defense again... Hopefully, we see a replay of what happened around 20 minutes ago...

I want to see a Korean corner so their keeper can get pulled for a header chance.

How was that not a free kick?

It's done. Commiserations for Korea, they played well. I'm impressed with them.

As good of a match as you'll get in those weather conditions.

Great win for Uruguay and if they can get their act together in midfield they can be very dangerous for any team.

Good effort by Korea... Not a Uruguay domination that everyone expected. 3 wasted opportunities though... some GREAT opportunities.

Quality game. Forlan and Suarez sure make the most of the chances they get.

I thought Forlan was invisible this game, but Suarez will remember this game till the end of his life. Great game by him

Good game. Some seriously sketchy calls by that official though. He even called the game before time went out.

Forlan was great this game in a support striker role again. He was creating some nice chances for Suarez, Edinson and Pereira in this game, I thought...
(Granted, that first goal looked more like a mis-kicked cross...)

I guess the blame goes to the Korean goalkeeper and strikers, who really failed to convert the many chances they had. I thought the ref was fair. I like Uruguay and hope they go far.

Good run for Korea. Before the tournament, I think if you told people that they would go out in a hard fought game in the round of 16, most people in Korea would have taken it, and most people outside of Korea would not have thought it were possible.

They played well, but that early mistake pretty much decided the way the game would be played. Even though it appeared as though Korea was dominating, getting the better chances and the bulk of the possession, you always had that sense that Uruguay was just hanging back and could pull ahead when needed, which they did.

I want to give some props to Park Ji-Sung, as he showed what he can really do this game (and the whole tournament, really), and he exceeded my expectations. It's probably a bit late in the day at this point, but it might serve him well to leave Man United and get on a team where he can play big minutes regularly in a bigger role.

Anyway, it was a good run, and I hope Korea can make an equal or greater run in 2014.

Tough to say, I thought Boateng was pretty good, Mascherano does his job quietly but yeah Park is right up there.
