Madrid played great last night, Barca were quite good after the interval too. Great game overall.

Still think Barca has an advantage in the UCL. If Madrid gives up a goal it's going to be tough to make up. The Nou Camp is gonna be INSANE in the 2nd leg. I think Madrid has to have a 2 goal cushion going in there.

Couple of things stood out from the match:

Di Maria is really good. Didn't think he would become so good in such a short time but the work rate and creativity along with the natural pace and shooting skill is brilliant.

Mourinho likes athleticism and physicality in his team. I wouldn't be surprised if neither Benz nor Higuain get any important games to the end of the season. It'll mostly be Ronaldo and Adebayor upfront. We saw this with Drogba at Chelsea, Milito at Milan and now Adebayor at Madrid.

Ronaldo is just a rare physical specimen. The lung busting run through the middle of Barca's midfield that resulted in Adriano stretching and injuring himself was just beautiful. You can literally count the number of players who can do that in the middle of a regular game let alone the 110th minute of a derby on a single hand.

I could imagine Di Maria do it by last game's evidence, along with Rooney and may be Tevez.

I think Ronaldo's athleticism and explosiveness are unmatched. If you meant every player who can run really hard after 110 minutes, I'm sure there are tonnes. Ramires and Lampard can do it for us, and of course you guys have Rooney and Park.

It's interresting, it seems to go completely against Real Madrid's identity and the context of the fixture, that's why I don't see Mourinho lasting too long at Real. If he doesn't at least win the league next season, he's got no chance of staying (even if he ever intended staying longer). I doubt this is how Perez imagined the 2nd incarnation of the galaxticos playing...

In all fairness, Mourinho's "tactics" were a concern long before he was hired as manager of Madrid. So it shouldn't really matter now, I think at this point Real just cares more about loosening Barcelona's grip on every trophy available.

Sergio Ramos better invite his whole team to dinner for dropping the trophy. What an idiot.

Is real futbol the one with the great, fluid play, excellent passing combined with choking players, and diving?
