Alvaro Recoba.

Not very successful, but awfully talented. When I was 7-8 years old, I used to shoot with my left foot all the time because I was trying to imitate him. Thanks to him, I shoot better with my left foot while doing everything else better with my right side.

Emile Heskey, just due to his sheer dominance at the club and country levels.

I hated Boon when I was a kid. Boon and Mervin Hughes looked like a comic book characters though.

Jürgen Kohler. Not that I wanted to play like him as I hated playing his position but I really liked that dude when I was 10 or so.

Zidane is definitely at the top of the list. Hierro as well, not just because I'm a diehard RM fan but also because his son was in my class and I still have this galacticos water bottle that he signed.
