Toughest group to vote on

Buck's team would win this group quite soundly IMO, with Matuidi and Sandro protecting the back four that has Chiellini and Barzagli, this pretty much gives license the front four to attack constantly and stay up there and the full backs Marcelo and Sagna to bomb forward, the Ronaldo-Marcelo partnership will always be a huge threat to anybody as has been proven in real life with creativity from Cazorla and Balotelli along with the pace of Bla, this team is a really solid team

Slava's team is also up there, although Veratti is young he has proven he can perform at the top level and with Javi Martinez covering for him there isn't too much to worry about, Kagawa is also capable of dropping deeper should Veratti need the support. Big fan of the Cole-Carvajal tandem in the wings although Cole is capable of holding his own down the left, still not quite convinced with Carvajal but you've managed to cover that with Navas. Suarez will find a way to get 30 shots on goal as usual and every defence will always have to worry about Chicharito and his poaching ways

4thQuarter, I just think your team isn't too convincing, I don't think it will beat any of the other teams should they go head to head in real life it does have a nice balance to it, I'm also not convinced with the CB partnership

5DOM, the Tevez-Cavani partnership could be lethal with Vidal, Kroos and Thiago backing them up is pretty good, Mascherano as the destroyer will always help and defence out, just not that convinced with the defence though. There's only so much Mascherano-Vidal-Thiago can do to help out and with Coentrao not that sound defensively and with both full backs not having adequate cover. I feel that's where the problem lies

I actually like Coentrao defensively. I've always felt that defensive side of his game might actually be better than the offensive side. My biggest concern defensively is actually with Inigo Martinez. I know that he's highly rated by La Liga watchers, but I've personally watched him play a grand total of two times.

And like people have pointed out, lack of width is a pretty big concern for my team. Tevez has experience playing left wing, Cavani right wing, and Alexis both, but it won't worry too many defences. The team I tried to copy is Mourinho's treble-winning Inter side who didn't have much width themselves, but I guess I don't have Maicon.

My issue with bucks team is that they lack the creativity in midfield to be able to build smoothly and will need to rely on quick counters to get his attackers the ball before space closes up. I think that's a big weakness that all of the other teams in this group will be able to exploit very well. As 5Dom, slava and 4thQ all have strong and creative midfields.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?

That is true, but like I said it allows the front 4 to stay up the pitch without any worries of tracking back. Also, it gives the full backs more license to roam forward
