There is Ronaldo against Holland in 98, Ronaldo against Turkey in 02.
Zidane against us, Brazil both in 98 and 06. Favourite international player ever.
Del Piero against Germany in 06.
Ronaldinho against England in 02.
Muller against Argentina and England in 10 - I feel bad he didn't develop much since then.
Laudrup against us in 98 - gotta love the guy.


Honorable mention to Marcos and Rivaldo for the whole work in 2002. They deserved the best GK and best Player of the Cup that tournment. Rivaldo deserved co-Golden Ball with Ronaldo, the very least.

Honestly, no one besides Kahn deserved best GK honours at that world cup.
It was basically Ballack, Schneider and a band of runners that played for Germany and if it weren't for Kahn and his insane saves there would've never been that run to the final.

No one besides Kahn choked in that WC Finals. Ronaldo is thanking his bad rebound until now. Not only Marcos was great, but he was also clutch.

Aside from Italy I loved the France & Croatia '98 squads;
and Turkey & USA in 2002 (which was the worst tournament possibly ever)
