No. Only their former keeper Tomislav Piplica is cult.

Pipi is the goalkeeping coach for Bosnia. Explains why Begovic is so good.

From fans helping their club to renovate the stadium, to public viewing on couches and the famous X-mas singing in the stadium.

Everythung is cult about that club.

For realsies, we're the most kult of all german clubs, and that relationship didn't die after the wall fell, so I doubt it ever will.

If you're looking for an eastern club that's not us, I think Rostock has the best bet, their academies are still pretty strong and they have a lot of history while Cottbus are just the most recent eastern team to play in the top division.

I said Cottus because of Merkel. And there's something special about East Germany clubs.

Hansa Rostock is a good shout because of their fans. The Lazio/Milwall of Germany?

ADO Den Haag, their fans have a reputation for being nutcases, but they also have a great loyal following of extremely knowledgeable fans.

I went to a pre-season game between Wednesday and the Glasgow Rangers last season, they brought as many fans as the away-end could hold, for a friendly. Massive support and completely fanatic, I suppose the same goes for Celtic.

Also a mention for Ebbsfleet United who were taken over by MyFootballClub.co.uk a website that crowd-sourced funding to buy and run a club in the UK with real fan-control. Unfortunately the experiment failed and they were rescued by some Kuwaiti investment firm last year, ending the experiment, but the sheer interest of the experiment warrants them cult status in my book.

If you say Forest then you have to say Derby County, too. One of the most supported clubs in England.

That'd be like calling Fuerth a kult klub because of Kissinger, one famous fan doesn't make you a cult club. Cottbus have always been a small team, even in the DDR and in region they're a small club with a limited fanbase. They're not us or Pauli.

And no on Hansa as the Lazio/Millwall, Entracht Frankfurt, Dynamo Dresden and during the derbies Entracht Braunschweig fans are much worse and there's others as well, East german football had a lot of fights and violence back in the day, but that was before reunification, now a days it's a lot more chilled out, even somewhere like Dresden where they are still on the extreme edge of german hools.

PS since it was mentioned this is what the WC viewing parties my eiserne are hosting look like:

Club Deportivo Guadalajara, for their Mexican players only rule.

Theyve had a few US-born chicanos before, but they make them commit to the Mexican national team before signing them. They're one of the two most popular and successful teams in Mexico, but they are far from successful at the moment.

I think Juventus should be mentioned here as well. It's been owned by same family since more than 90 years, which is a record for professional sports teams worldwide

Maybe Red Star Belgrade can be considered a cult club?

i think you have to distinguish here between cult clubs like st. pauli and union who are most of the time smaller clubs with a big and loyal following who don't care too much about team success and traditional clubs with a lot of history.
too many urkels on your team, that's why your wins low

Nah, they are big and successful club, but if you are looking for a cult club from the ex-Yugoslavia countries, it would have to be Hajduk Split ...

Yes, they have been successful, but they do not have the financial and the pulling power of Dinamo Zagreb (in Croatia) and Red Star Belgrade (in Serbia), and their support is mostly located in their own region of Dalmatia ... By the way, they were my favorite domestic club next to Vardar Skopje, when we were living in the same country ...
