5DOM Retires as Soccer Forum Moderator

Post#1 » by LittleOzzy » Sat Feb 6, 2016 10:23 pm

I would like to announce the retirement of 5DOM from the RealGM Soccer Forums and thank him for his many years of service here.

The Soccer area of RealGM wouldn't be what it is today without his leadership. He helped grow this forum into what it is today, and together we should all be thankful for his many hours of commitment. When he started as a Moderator most threads here would maybe reach a couple of pages, now we are seeing discussions that last 100's. Without 5DOM here helping to shape the forum I don't think that would be possible.

Please join me in thanking 5DOM, and I hope he enjoys the retirement perks that come along with being a RealGM Moderator (The retirement package is SWEET).

Always a quality poster, and probably the most calm and level-headed among us. He's not been around for a while, but hopefully he'll return at some point and post again. His presence is missed around here.

He was the only one who could withstand GMgoran's logical fallacies.

Can Baph be the new mod? Assuming we need a replacement (and that he wants the job).

I nominate Baph!

I'm sure they already have a candidate in mind, if they're looking for a new mod. I think we should keep this about 5DOM's retirement. Thanks for the vouch, though. :lift:

My favourite 5DOM moment:

Also, I distinctly remember his garbled reaction to Chelsea winning the CL in 2012. Was the only thing that made me laugh on an otherwise traumatic day as a Spurs fan.

Happy retirement 5DOM! Very well deserved. On the radio, I heard the Canadian version of social security is so good that even Americans want to piggyback off of it. Between that and the RealGM perks, you're set for life.

I would like to thank 5DOM for his great service to this community as a Moderator.

Our Soccer Forums would not be what they are without him.

I do hope he will return to moderating one day.

For now, I wish him nothing but the best.
