Andre3822 above me suggested to replacing Pique with either Thiago Silva (which would be fine) or Kompany in No_20's XI. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but it's worth pointing out that Kompany's been average for a little while now, partly due to persistent injury. He doesn't belong anywhere near a Premier League XI let alone a world one.

Well Ivanovic, Ramos, Yaya haven't been good this season. Hard to put Ibra ahead of Suarez and Neymar

When will De Gea surpass Neuer?
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Not only De Gea, there three or more better goalkeepers than Neuer. He is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen.

Yaya Toure must be the laziest football in the prem. And when things aren't going his team's way then he just switches off.

Get Kanté in for Iniesta and Mahrez for Ozil. The thread is the best CURRENT world XI.

I get your point about Kante but I'm not a fan of destroyers and Ozil is Europe's leading assist-maker. Mahrez is a winger. I would have him as Messi's back-up.

Mahrez can play in the slot behind a forward, giving him license to roam.

Leicester don't play him there because they want Okazaki to run his socks off for 60 minutes.

Ozil may have 18 ass but he only has 5 goals. Mahrez has 11 assists and 17 goals.
