R.I.P. Was stunned when I heard about this.

One of the greatest and most influential to ever play the game. A genius on and off the pitch.

Should be the greatest ever in terms of overall contributions to football. RIP.

Barcelona in the last decade would have been a very different team if he had never played and coached for them in the past.
I doubt even if guardiola would have been a coach.

Him and Franz were the greatest. They've done it as players AND as coaches unlike Pele and Maradona.

RIP.

A true legend of football, not only because how good he was playing, but how he changed this sport as player and coach. Barça wouldn't be the same without him.

There are no words to thank him what he has done to this team.

Great player and very narly came to Leicester at the end of his career. We were all so excited but he wasn't keen on the weather.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

After Diego Maradona, Johan Cruyff was the greatest player I have ever seen. God rest his soul.

Farewell legend.

You can name all the Pele's, Maradona's, Beckenbauer's, Messi's, Ronaldo's etc. and none of them had as much influence on the game as Cruijff.
He revolutionised the game and most of the things we see today are using the foundation he laid with his idea of Voetbal total.

BTW: Nice tribute to him by Ajax.
