That ref was a joke. Should've been two penalties for Liverpool in the first half.

Still, the Reds bottled it in the 2nd half and I called Seville winning it all after the group stages, when Juve handed them the spot in the Europa League knockout stages.

Awful officiating. But, it is what it is. Sevilla were the better team 2nd half. Disappointing to say the least.

How can La Liga dominate European football so much but still nobody cares about the league(apart from RM and Barca) outside of Spain?

The league isnt even broadcasted in Germany.

Yes! We did it! Three-peat and five titles overall! I couldn't be happier, tonight is going to be a very long night here in Seville. What a great game we have seen today, well played Liverpool we got smashed in the first half and we could have lost the game if you guys had scored that second goal. Anyways, you gotta admit Seville was unstoppable in the second half and we deserved this victory.

Congrats. Really, a pretty incredible achievement given how many teams qualify for the EL every season, for one team to show such consistent dominance over a fairly significant period of time. It actually reminds me a little of Liverpool's European Cup dominance in the 70s/80s. For the time being, I don't see Spain's European stranglehold coming to an end any time soon.

On a side note, bad luck Liverpool fans. I think Next Coming already mentioned this, but I reckon you'll have a good shot at making the CL via a top four finish next season, the future's already looking pretty good under Klopp.

I can't speak for other countries but it gets a lot of coverage here in the UK. It's the only top league besides the Premier League that gets significant coverage on Sky, and that includes plenty of non-Real/Barca/Atleti matches.

Well Real and Barca have one of the biggest followings worldwide and they took all the spotlight from Spain for years. Like with the Bundesliga there simply wasn't a consistently good team. That is why Beyern is huge worldwide, but all the other teams are just meh. Maybe Valencia, which has a decent foreign fan base, but they also had a lot of ups and downs.
Now Atletico being good may create some fans across the world for them. Especially this generation of kids that are now falling in love with their first team.

Perception. Bundesliga suffers the same fate. People think its a 2 team or in Germany's case, a 1 team league. So the general fan underestimates the quality of the other teams.

It is slowly changing but old habits die hard with many people.

The answer is pretty simple. EPL content is in English which literally everyone understands these days.

Bundesliga or La Liga stuff needs to be translated.
