I'm far from a Neymar fan, but I wouldn't necessarily classify this game as him "laying an egg" so much as I would credit the Swiss for completely eliminating him from it.

A called foul turns into an advantage for Brazil. He should have capitalized on those. He didn't.

An advantage for the rest of Brazil, not an advantage for Neymar specifically. That was what the Swiss were trying to accomplish.

I agree he was fouled a lot. But look, when a referee let first harsh tackle, without a yellow card (Xhaka on Neymar), you already know they would try to do everything to stop him, even injurie him. It isn't pretty to watch that and is bad but worked for Switzerland.

Serbia has a great chance to secure first place in the group with the win in next round against Switzerland, they have better players and better team all-around.

And for last round, if Brazil against Serbia plays the way they played today... I don't see them winning.

I really hope the Swiss are not allowed to continue to foul without the threat of a yellow card in games going forward.
Though Dr. J, Darnell Hillman, and Artis Gilmore's fros got most of the attention, George C. Trapp's fro should be noted for its bouncy qualities.

While I agree that he got fouled a lot he did flop a lot as well. He was hitting the ground on any slightest touches looking for foul instead of trying to play. That type of play is really annoying these days. I remember goals like that when players did not fall begging for penalty but scored instead - skip to 4:15.. unless you want a reminder how great of the footballer M.Laudrup was:)

Neymar didn't play his best but it was not like he was avoiding to show up. Switzerland is a pretty good defensive team and didn't allow much space.

Neymar is such a clown at times. Why fall there? Why?

You have a great chance to score there, ffs. Ref is doing a great job handling Neymar's acting.

Neymar is one of the biggest cancers of world football, should've got a red card here.

Neymar is a great player with unreal talent, but he's a disrespectful little child.

And now he's crying, for whatever reason.

He needs some attention, the poor thing

Anyway, I hope the first halfway decent team they meet sends them packing. They certainly haven't looked very convincing so far.

Why ref did not give him a yellow after checking VAR and seeing that he blatantly flopped to trick him?

Don't know why we stopped attacking, whenever we attack it's dangerous, Mitrović Is dominating in the air.
