Don’t worry, Germany. You have good players and won’t fall as far as Italy has since losing in group stage following their win in ‘06

Could only watch parts of the game because of work. Lucky me. They straight up didn't deserve it, so even though I'm disappointed that's fine with me.

But what the hell happened in the other game? Didn't expect that

Congrats to Sweden and Mexico, well deserved

Disappointed in our squad, but here is hope Jogi can turn it around next time around. Sane and Brandt should get big roles.

Yes, he's clearly everything our offense needed. Come on, let's not be ridiculous.

Basically everyone was bad in all 3 games aside from a few good minutes against Sweden. That includes Löw, who couldn't adjust to anything, especially against Mexico and today against South Korea. It looked like he and most players expected to make it out of the group because that's just how it goes, right? Their arrogance got punished IMO.

Löw should go, but he'll probably just leave and won't be fired. Wouldn't surprise me to see some players announcing they won't play for the NT anymore.

Last in your group and you lose to South Korea.... no offense but South Korea..... this is historic on EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!!!

As a Korean, I feel no offense by your comments. Even Koreans couldn't believe this. I personally expected us to get blown out, but I forgot that these guys are the "Taeguk Warriors". So proud of them even if they couldn't qualify.

This win actually is historic since South Korea just became the first Asian country to beat Germany in any international matches (or was it just World Cup?).

I know the Koreans lost 2 matches, but each matches were decided by a penalty kick. Those damn penalties killed us.

I think these young guys showed what a bright future Korean soccer has. These guys may not be good as our "glory days" (the decade of 2000), but they do have the potential to be better with Son Heung Min leading the way.

Yeah, Löw won´t get fired. There is no one who could raise his voice against him. This circle around Löw/Bierhoff is almost untouchable.
It´s his decision if he wants to continue or not. And i think he will.

He´s probably not gonna change this tikinaccio style. But he desperately needs more precision in the game, and he needs a finisher. And he probably can´t ignore a player like Sane any more in the future. He brings in speed and precision. And dribbling has to be at least an option for the german game.

How's Mexico lucky? They beat Germany and that itself gives them enough credibility to advance to the next round.

Overall, this group was proven to be overrated. Germany really laid an egg. Mexico looked really average against Sweden, and Sweden is simply not a strong team. South Korea was considered the worst team, but I don't think they were far off from the rest. With that said, I expect both Brazil and Switzerland to beat Mexico and Sweden.

mueller cliff has arrived, he should not have been playing. Germany needs better finishers and more flashy players who can up the tempo. but they have a solid program and should not make wholesale changes

that's what you get when creating a brand like "die Mannschaft" counts more than playing actual football.
good for Germany. maybe they will go back to the important things other than advertising, social media hashtags and more.
i blame this on bierhoff and loew first. their decisions on taking their loved ones and not the ones who deserved into the roster was a big mistake. sane, ter stegen deserved to start.
