Must be happy facing Colombia.

I know we'd be in the purported 'easier' part of the draw if we were to finish 2nd, but I find it really disrespectful to Colombia and others in that half of the bracket. Focus on winning each game as it comes. I know England are historically terrible in international football, but I think dropping your best 11 in your first real test of the tournament to avoid the big nations is a loser's mentality. Same goes to Belgium.

I hope our bench lads step up and still give them a kicking.

Hope we see a spectacular game tbh.
Let them show the world why they're the best playing teams in the WC.

I'd imagine nobody with a yellow card on any team will be playing, and should not be playing. A shame this is the 3rd game with everything essentially decided.

Winner plays in the Bracket of Death.

Loser gets the Bracket of Life.

lets see how close they fight.

Fellaini is such a weapon, man. He brings a lot to the table.

Incredible that you even have to say this, but it's nice to see both teams trying to win this.

Our second unit looks very poor, though I do like Loftus-Cheek

God Panama sucks. I can’t believe they made it over U.S.

Better game than I expected.
Our 'second string' with a good performance, showing they're ready when needed.
Especially liked Januzaj and Tielemans.

On the England side I was really impressed by Loftus-Cheek. Chelsea should use him next season.
Pickford again showed he's a tremandous talent. The save on the shot by Tielemans in the first half would've surprised a lot of keepers, but he actually still managed to get there. Rashofrd also was decent, but should've scored.

I don't see the point why is better for England finishing 2nd. Colombia is a tougher draw than Japan.

Yes but after that bracket on the that side is much less scary than the one Belgium will be facing...
