At least we made it here.

Not like your dudes with the utterly pathetic performance.

Could be the end of tika taka?

Spain midfielders and forwards are tiny, technical and fast but not strong enough to win individual matchups like dribble past a defender.

80% possession and 24 shots, 9 on goal, generated but just one goal.

Costa can be a beast up front but who else can dominate matchups in the box or the last third?

Iniesta is likely done with WC, Xavi already gone. Isco and Asensio are good young players but haven't accomplished what their predecessors have.

Spain doesn't have the big horses up front that Real or Barca have.

Exactly what I was going to say. Reminds me of the NBA Eastern Conference.

FOX is trying really hard to sell it as a great game because the host & underdog won. Almost any other team in this tourney stalls like that for an hour and FOX is embarrassed to show that.

Spain didn't look hungry enough. Russia might very well go to finals.

If they get anywhere near the Final, Putin might cause some of the opponent stars not to play.
