Expected the win tbh. England have so much depth in their squad

Netherlands finished first in the group with France and Germany. Amazing result, Koeman is a true genius.

But to be fair, the Germans could have won against us with 7-0 or something like that. They missed so many opportunities

I'm still shocked they somehow managed to fit this new tournament into the already busy schedule. Wow!!

Just a reminder that the semi-finals for the Nations League are coming up very soon, starting with Portugal vs. Switzerland on Wednesday, and the Netherlands vs. England on Thursday.

Southgate has put out an awful midfield of Delph, Rice and Barkley. They can't get any kind of control over the game.

De Ligt is really one of a kind.

Even if he makes a mistake, he will come back right back at you are correct his mistake.

Very few defenders have this ability.

What do the English people here think about Southgate?
As an outsider I think he's playing boring football, but I feel like the British media loves him?

Firstly I'd like to say that the Nations league games were a better idea than friendlies but given the covid situation they should have been cancelled this year. the risk is ridiculous and the timing atrocious.

As for Southgate he's an FA yes man. English people think he is boring, they think that England are boring. He plays the same old players when a match matters no matter how out of form they are. his new introductions are simply down to a lack of players wanting/being able to play. His tactics are boring too. as you can see we agree with you that he is Mr. Boring.

England could actually have an exciting team (not a champion team but an exciting team) that the supporters would enjoy watching but we all hate England matches.

I've heard that maybe our 3 Belgian players will have to go into quarantine!

That's one third of our starters to miss 3 matches and not be up to match fitness before when?

Ridiculous.
