Glad the Bundesliga is back. Great goal from Müller. Bayern got a bit lucky at the end because Wolfsburg would've definitely deserved that point.

Do you watch Bundesliga games online or just record them to a DVR? I ask because being in the US and no longer getting german cable makes it a bitch to keep up with the league that made me a soccer fan.

They profited hugely off Bremen's horrible defense but I like that they play honest attacking football. Probably the most fun team to watch because they get up and down the field and are always aware where the opposing goal is.

On a side-note their best player Carlos Eduardo will likely go to Rubin Kazan for 20 mil. €.

What a waste. Dude is what? 23 and goes to nowhere. Good luck on playing against Novosibirsk Carlos.

actually neither of both. I could start watching streams as soon as in two weeks after I'm done with a huge assignment paper but since I have no pay tv subscription I could only watch Bundesliga on our public TV programme but they only offer 10-15 minute recaps.

usually I'm not a huge fan of teams having a billionaire owner but Hoffenheim's owner is different so I kinda like them too. haven't watched a lot of Bundesliga during the last two years though with the lack of Hansa Rostock in it.

with Bayern Munich becoming more and more sympathetic to me and Ballack returning I'm gonna watch a lot this year though.

I want to watch Hamburg vs. Schalke now but unfortunately I've gotta go to the freaking cinema at about 25 °Celsius at 7 o'clock in the evening here. They called me up to work although they now it's great weather here and on top there's a big street festival here where I planned to go to. On top of that I've gotta work until 1 o'clock in the morning and start tomorrow at 12:00 am. God, this weekend f***ing sucks. :D

FCK! FCK! FCK!!!

1st game in the Bundesliga since 1500 days, and already the W. Cologne playing 89 minutes with only 10 men helps, but still, you still have to score the goals. :rocking: :lift:

Bayern gets a narrow win, Freiburg gets f***ed up by Pauli in the last 10 minutes (1-0 => 1-3) by a very impressive Sukuta-Pasu. Gladbach and Nuremberg draw, Hannover beats Frankfurt 2-1, and Bremen gets pwned royally by Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim showed flashes of their one time "supersonic soccer" and just shredded the (bad) Bremen defense. I am also pleased that Peniel Mlapa scored, I already rooted for that guy (German U19 international) when he was in 1860 Munich.

And yes, C. Eduardo has left Hoffenheim for about 20m to Kasan. Good move by 1899, CE put up pretty stats but was not a team player and often got REALLY STUPID red cards. In an interview, team captain Andi Beck said that CE "seriously lacked identification with the club for some time", clear words. Anyway, I expect Vorsah, Salihovic, L. Gustavo and Vukcevic to pick up most of the slack, so 1899 won't be troubled too much.

HSV beats Schalke 2-1. Van Nistelrooy scores both Hamburg goals, whereas Raul (got the ball only 18 times) stays quiet.

Martin Demichelis might leave Bayern Munich because coach Luis van Gaal told him that he is not on the starting squad.

Forget Schweinsteiger, Van Nistelrooy or Ballack for a sec, this guy is the real story of the 1st Spieltag: CHONG TESE. Yes, it's the guy who cried at the WC. Today, he became the first North Korean to play in the (Second) Bundesliga, and he directly scores two goals. :o
